First tooth down!

Trevan lost his first tooth today! Yea!!! He has been waiting a long time for this to happen, so long that the other tooth has already started to come in behind. It happened at school during class. He said he was sitting at his desk wiggling the tooth when it popped out. He came running in the house so excited to tell me. His tooth on top is loose and close to coming out too. It looks like the Tooth Fairy will be making a stop at our house tonight.
If you look closely, you can see his molar coming in on the right side of the picture.

7 months

Rylan is now 7 months old! He celebrated by getting a double ear infection. We spent the morning at the Dr.'s office with a whole bunch of other sick kidos. He is pretty miserable right now but Motrin is becoming my best friend. He is following in his older siblings footsteps with the timing of the ear infections, we just hope that he is more like Trevan in the fact that he wont require tubes, like Mason and Kennedy did.

Rylan is sitting all by himself. He still leans forward a little but he is getting there.

Sage tends to go lay down where ever Rylan is. These two are sure to be best friends one day.

I added these next two pictures because they are just so cute. Rylan got this hat for Christmas and it is the cutest thing. The kids love seeing him wear this hat and they call him "shark baby"

"Take my picture with me holding the scissors." Little miss Kennedy loves having her picture taken. One day she asked me to take her picture while she "read" the scriptures. So I did!

What the?

Rylan got into the crawling stance today. Not sure what to think of that. He has never been on his hands like that, knees yes, elbows yes, hands no! Looks like he will be crawling soon. He was so proud of himself, he giggled and giggled.

What can Rylan do?

Hi sits alone for a few minutes before crashing down

He scoots forward, backward, and sometimes even sideways

He can roll anywhere and he gets everywhere

He can fall asleep by himself in his bed, and he actually prefers it that way

He can grab his toes and get them into his mouth

He can get on his elbows and knees and rock back and forth

What Rylan eats:

He loves all fruits

He enjoys most vegetables, starting to tolerate "having" to eat peas

He likes oatmeal, starting to like rice cereal

He recently started eating Gerber Graduates Puffs and Cheerios

He is working on taking a sippy cup of juice

Sledding

The boys decided to go sledding today. It was freezing cold but they were determined. The first time they were out for about 40 minutes, came in for about an hour and went back out for maybe 20 minutes tops! I made them wear their bike helmets the first time but they were so tight on top of their hats that it hurt so the second time they don't have them on. Both boys had a blast and can't wait for it to warm up into the positive numbers to go again.
