Crazy Times!

I have taken a while off of blogging with good reason. One day I got this hair brained idea to potty train Kennedy, why? I don't know!!!!! I guess I thought she is 2 1/2, I am tired of buying diapers, she does change her own clothes 5 times a day, why not potty train. So the first week went like this, Kennedy you're a big girl now, her reply, NO I'M A BABY, She went the whole week only going potty once a day and holding it in the rest of the time. I was so freaked out thinking she was going to get a bladder infection, and that is all she needs after all she already went through with her kidney problems. By Friday that week I was ready to bag the whole thing and keep her a baby. George and I talked about it and decided to get through the weekend and see how she did. I guess all it takes for her to go potty is to have a freaked out mom, because after that friday she was good with the peeing! She has done really well with that now we are still working on the number 2's! I have convinced her that she is a big girl but that she is still my baby. So after a few weeks I am now asking why I did this now because her life is forever changing. They say not to potty train when big things happen, well we have shipped our household stuff, shipped the truck yesterday and are at the mercy of friends for cars, and in a few weeks we move! Hopefully she won't revert backwards. You know they say that girls are easier than boys to potty train, well I guess my kids are the exception to that! The boys were potty trained within a few days, she is still trying us! So like I said we had the packers at our house last week. It went pretty smoothly, I guess I will for sure find out when I have to unpack everything. I spent the two days with Marie and her boys, it sure was nice to not have to be at home and be in the way. We are now living with FMO furniture, My opinion on that is they keep it so uncomfortable to make it unbearable so that no one would want to keep it! It does beat pulling up some floor! We had to sleep on air mattresses for two nights and I do not recomend that. We shipped the truck yesterday. Glad that is all over with now. We have been very lucky to have friends willing to lend us their cars so we don't have to rent one. I think that updates everything that has been going on. Not much else going on this week, next week will be great SCHOOL STARTS MONDAY!!!!!!!!!

I know about the potty training woes too! Niki tell sme all the time he still wants to be a baby. He is potty trained except when he get sick or really upset. Jeanna (at 4 years) still is not and I have no idea when I should try because she doesn't seem ready even still. How big do they make diapers? I didn't realize your move is upon you now. You will be missed. Your family are such rocks in the gospel and you, Linda inspire me becaue you are faithful and I never hear you turn things down or complain about doing things. I am glad you have a blog so I can keep up with your life!
