Life at the house of Burns

We are now 3 weeks away from leaving Germany. The closer our departure gets the more I realize what I am actually going to miss about living here. One big thing I will miss is driving on the autobahn. When we got orders here I thought I would never drive on it because of the speeds but I got here and I love it. I love the respect most other drivers have for each other. When driving in the left lane and a faster car is coming from behind you move! Not like in the states where people think "I am going the speed limit so you can slow down!" And when I say faster that is just not the way to describe how fast they drive here. When a little car goes flying past my big SUV and my vehicle shakes you know how fast they are truly going! There are more things than this but I will save them for another post.

Yesterday Kennedy gave me quite a scare. She was up stairs with the boys and pulled the TV over on herself. I heard the crash and then a sheer scream. I got up there and the TV was right on her belly and legs. Funny thing, what hurt was her forehead, the corner of the TV got her there and in the corner of her eye. I was thinking she was going to have some cracked ribs with where the TV was but nope! We got lucky.

Lastly I want to tell of a Trevanism. This morning after his shower I was putting lotion on him. I had bought some new kind and didn't really smell it in the store. Well I was putting it on his face and arms and he says "This lotion makes me feel like I am in LOVE!" funny funny funny. I guess it was to purfumy for his likes.

We are very sad you guys are leaving us. Ryan said that before Mason and Trevan leave he needs to make them a card that says "you are my best friends and I will be sad without you." We definately need to have you over before you go, just one more Rockband night!
